Essay Writing Styles - What Are They

Essay Writing Styles - What Are They? There are three basic essay writing styles to choose from. These styles will allow you to focus your attention on a certain point, or topic. Each style has its own set of pros and cons. In this article, we will talk about the three types. We should mention that this article does not talk about style within a class, for example, AP English Literature. This is because many people like to mix styles in the essay, especially with their essay writing styles. It is very important that you choose a particular style to concentrate on first before you write any other style. However, if you do happen to need to use a different style, keep in mind that it is not a bad idea.Type one is known as the 'active' style. In this style, you start out with the main theme and go from there. This style can be used when the main theme and the body of the essay are not all that related. However, it is very important that you write clearly and to the point within this style .Type two is known as the 'passive' style. In this style, you lay out the main point and the rest of the essay follows. This style is very common when writing an essay that deals with a specific topic. However, the essay may also include a few pieces that are not related at all.Type three is known as the 'investigative' style. In this style, you start out with the key points and go through each one slowly. Some essay writers find this style easier to write, especially when they are doing an essay about a very narrow topic. However, it is important that you keep your perspective. You must use your judgment while you are writing. Now that you know what these styles are, here are some tips on using them. First, make sure that you start each essay on a strong note. The main point should be expressed very clearly.Last, keep in mind that each style has its own set of pros and cons. Choose one based on the kind of essay you plan to write. Since this style focuses on one aspect of the essay, you must ensure that you do so carefully.
